Well I am new to this site and not really sure how it works but I am sure I will figure it out soon.

This is the beginning of whats going to be a long, very dramatic, stressful and draining battle but I have been given no other choice. After 9 years I have finally had eNough. I am in a horrible abusive relationship that is just getting worse and is now effecting my son. I cannot continue to allow my child to live like this so I am doing what I need to do to get him into a healthy environment where he can just be a kid and not worry about things that he shouldnt even know about. I have no money or family to help me get away from this situation (which is also why I have stayed for so long) but I am hoping that this site will guide me to available resources or options that I may have and do not know about. Maybe someone that has gone through a similar situation is able to give me some insight and or hope that I made the right decision and that things will get better. 

if anyone in or around granite city illinois knows where i can get someuniforms for my kids' school it would be appreciated looking for sizes 4-5t (yellow early childhood) and navy blue, red, black, white polo shirts size 8-10, if anyone has a few laying around that they dont need that would be great too...
